Use potions and poisons as a bonus action
Throw potions/poisons to target a 10 foot cube rather than one creature
Starting at 2nd level, you always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Brewer Spells table. These spells count as witch spells for you, but they don't count against the number of witch spells you prepare.
Brwer Spells
Witch Level.1st | Detect Poison and Disease, Tasha's Caustic Brew3rd | Enhance Concoction5th | 7th | 9th |At 2nd level, you gain proficiency with two of the following tools of your choice; alchemist's supplies, brewer's supplies, cook's utensils, herbalism kit and poisoner's kit.
Additionally, you can use each of your chosen tools as a spellcasting focus for your witch spells.
Starting at 2nd level, when you finish a long rest you can produce a number of special potions equal to 1 + your proficiency bonus. You choose the potions you produce from the Concoctions list below. The potions last until they are used or until you finish your next long rest.
As an action or bonus action, a creature can drink a potion or administer it to another willing or incapacitated creature. Alternatively, a creature may make an improvised weapon attack against a target with the potion. On a hit, the target takes 1 piercing damage and is subject to the effects of the potion. An unwilling creature can make a Constitution saving throw against your witch spell save DC to avoid the effects of the potion.
Concoctions
Potion of Chilling. For the next minute, the target has resistance to fire damage and is vulnerable to cold damage.
Potion of Healing. The target regains a number of hit points equal to 2d4 + your Intelligence modifier.
Potion of Numbing. For the next minute, whenever the target takes damage, and is not reduced to 0 hit points, they gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage they took (rounded down), replacing any temporary hit points they already have. They gain these temporary hit points after taking the triggering damage.
Potion of Speed. For the next minute, the target's speed increases by 10ft, and they may take the Dodge action as a bonus action.
Potion of Warming. For the next minute, the target has resistance to cold damage and is vulnerable to fire damage.
Potion of Hulking. For the next minute, the target has advantage on Strength checks and saving throws, but also has disadvantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws. (Maybe add/subtract your INT mod instead)
Potion of Lithing. For the next minute, the target has advantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws, but also has disadvantage on Strength checks and saving throws. (Maybe add/subtract your INT mod instead)
Potion of Refueling. The target recovers one expended spell slot of 2nd-level or lower.
Maybe some higher level potions?
Spell storing potions. Can store a self with range of Self, any creature can drink it (it would use the drinker's concentration but your spellcasting ability)
Improve Enhance Concoction (2 effects per potion?)
Starting at 6th level, you can produce a special elixir that is infused with magic. With a spellcasting focus in hand, you can produce an elixir over the course of 10 minutes and store a single spell within it by expending a spell slot of a high enough level and providing any material components. The spell must be a witch spell that you have prepared, and it must have a casting time of either 1 action or 1 bonus action and must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell's current level. The spell may have a range of self. The elixir lasts until it is consumed or until the end of your next long rest.
As an action, a creature can consume an elixir, casting the spell with itself as the target. The spell uses your spellcasting ability. If the spell requires concentration, the drinker must concentrate on the spell.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Too similar to my spell-storing snacks feature for feast cleric?
Maybe just allow self range spells at touch range (but flavour it as potions)?
Starting at 6th level, you gain an additional spirit feature to use with your Invoke Spirits feature:
Spirit of Consumption. When a creature within 30 feet of you consumes a potion of healing or one of your Witch's Concoctions, you can expend a spirit and choose another willing creature within 30 feet of you to also gain the benefits of the potion.
