The Floydson Clan

The Floydson clan are a lesser clan of the Odelag. Their ancestral seat is Wottr.

Like many clans, the Floydson clan technically have an elected Jarl, but the title almost always goes to the eldest child (or sibling) of the previous Jarl. Arnulf is the expected heir of Kormak but someone else could take the role with enough support.

Not everyone uses the traditional naming scheme of being named for their parents. For example, Kormak and Arnulf have both taken the clan name, Floydson, rather than that of their respective fathers.

The story of who Floyd was has been lost to time, as has the significance of the mallard on the clan's banners. Though the mallard is often treated as a guardian figure for the clan.

The Floydson have a long standing enmity with the Valbjorn clan frequently having raided each other for generations.
