Some beings draw their power from the elements of the natural world itself, such as dragons, elementals and some giants. Your brand is also tied to these elements, though in an opposing manner.
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Primordial Obstructor Spells table. Each of these spells counts as an obstructor spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of obstructor spells you know

Rename Elemental Impotence?
Starting at 3rd level, you can hinder someone's elemental abilities. As a bonus action, you choose a creature you can see within 60ft and one of the following damage types; acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison or thunder. The target creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your obstructor spell save DC or deal only half damage with the chosen type for the next minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell).
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
maybe just make this a spell?
At 1st level, your research and rituals have given you a greater understanding of those who harness the elements of the natural world. When you make an Intelligence or Wisdom check to recall or discover details about dragons, elemental or giants, you may add a d4 to the roll.
Additionally, you learn one of the following languages of your choice; aquan, auran, draconic, giant, ignan or terran
The die you use for this feature changes when you reach certain levels in this class. The die becomes a d6 at 5th level, a d8 at 10th level, and a d10 at 15th level.
