Though the exact words and strictures of the Oath of the Hunt vary, paladins of this oath share these tenets.
Purpose. Every kill must have a purpose, death should not be a waste.
Conservation. Do not disrupt the natural order any more than is necessary.
Respect?
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.
Paladin Level. 3rd | Hunter's Mark, Zephyr Strike 5th | Cordon of Arrows, Magic Weapon, Misty Step, Pass without Trace, Summon Beast9th | Flame Arrows13th | 17th | Swift QuiverNarrow down to 2 for each levelStarting at 3rd level, you may use your Divine Smite feature with ranged weapon attacks. In addition, any paladin spell you cast that involves making a melee weapon attack, such as Searing Smite, can be used with a ranged weapon attack instead for you.
Paladins normally only get oath spells and channel divinities at 3rd level, but having this at any higher level makes little sense to me. (Maybe a feat for just the spells would be better)
Maybe make a channel divinity that let's you do this for 1 hour?
Limit Range?
You can use your Channel Divinity as an action to gain heighted awareness of your surroundings. For the next hour, you cannot be surprised and you know the location of any beast, monstrosity or plant creature within 60ft of you. You know the type (beast, monstrosity or plant) and size of any creature you sense but not its identity.
At 7th level, you learn a Fighting Style of your choice from the ranger class.
At 15th level,
At 20th level,
