At 1st level, you choose one mutation, a list of which can be at the end of the class. You gain additional mutations at xth, xth and xth level in this class.
At 1st level, you take on an Anomalous Nature that describes the essence of your mutations. our choice grants features at 1st level, and again at 3rd, xth, and xth level.
Fighting Style (all the usual, maybe also socerous warrior, 2 sorc cantrips)

Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
4th mutation

Psychic stuff and tentacles
Control. lots of web and swarm stuff
Martial sublclass focused on natural weapons and defense. Probably bonuses based on chosen animal (similar to totem barb)
Third Caster Subclass. has some form of eldritch mutation (maybe let them choose spell list)
Support martial (maybe more tanky). buffs and gets buffed by nearby allies.
Tank with barkskin, (extra) healing in sunlight and bonuses from not moving.
Movement focused subclass with burrowing, climbing and swimming options. Also maybe flying/gliding.
Likely also gets benefits to grappling and escaping grapples
